A street survey carried out in Swansea by Swansea
Consumer Support Network revealed the following:
89% of people interviewed had experienced at least
one consumer problem with many people having experienced
several problems.
74% of people who had a consumer problem had
complained to the trader, but 45.5% did not receive
satisfaction.
54% of people interviewed thought that they were
well or fairly well informed about their consumer rights.
Only 35% of people thought it was easy or fairly
easy to get information or advice on consumer rights.
